Kiptunga forest demo turned into a looting spree as residents made away with equipment at a logging site inside the forest.
The angry residents also destroyed 15 trailers belonging to Comply Industries Limited, leading to a loss of an estimated KES 160 million.
They were protesting the death of a local pastor and a motorbike rider who were knocked down by a vehicle belonging to the logging company on Tuesday.
Police are now searching four suspects believed to have incited the youth into the arson attack.
