Mogadishu car bomb leaves 34 people dead
Those killed mainly shoppers and traders
At least 34 people died and scores others injured after a car bomb exploded in Mogadishu on Sunday.
Those who died were mainly shoppers and traders near the explosive-laden car, BBC reports.
According to sources, the owner of the car parked it near a restaurant before leaving to an unknown destination.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is suspected that Al-Shabaab were behind it after threatening to attack supporters of President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed.
