Armed Facebook user threatens to kill opposition leaders

Nairobi – Police are hunting for an armed Facebook user who has been threatening to kill opposition leaders.
The man by the name Kipchirchir Alfie claims to be “Police Field Commander at Kenya Police Training College, Kiganjo,” “Worked at Presidential Escort” on his Facebook profile which was created in March 2016.
However, IG Joseph Boinnet has dismissed claims that he is a police officer and issued a warrant of arrest against him.
His messages have been directed to opposition leader Raila Odinga, MPs Mohamed Junet and Millie Odhiambo, and Governors Hassan Joho and Jefferson Kingi.
