World record holder Daniel Komen was Monday charged with six fraud-related charges.
The athlete is reported to have fraudulently obtained a vehicle worth KES 1.75 million, forging its ownership documents with intent to resell it to another party and issuing a bounced check among other charges between 2013 and 2015.
The 40-year-old runner, however, denied the charges and was released on KES 500,000 bond or KES 300,000 bail.
