Bank hacking scam: Duale chides opposition

The suspects were targeting IEBC, KRA and NTSA

The bank hacking scam of last week is said to have been sponsored by the opposition NASA.
Speaking in Mombasa over the weekend, Majority Leader Aden Duale claimed that NASA wanted to use the suspects to rig the August election.
“They wanted IEBC to fully automate their systems so they can rig the election,” he was captured on video as saying.
His claims came after the arrest of a bank hacking ring that is alleged to have stolen KES 30 billion since 2015.
The hackers who were allegedly targeting KRA, NTSA and IEBC are linked to powerful politicians who are yet to be named.
16 suspects are already undergoing probe as investigations continue.
