KNEC concerned about low turnout of candidates in exam registration

Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) officials are concerned about low turnout of candidates in the ongoing registration for KCPE and KCSE exams.
So far, only 97,720 candidates have registered for KCPE against the targeted one million candidates.
Another 127,329 candidates have registered for this year’s KCSE against the targeted 600,000 candidates.
The registration will end on February 28, with KNEC urging headteachers to take advantage of the free registration before the deadline elapses.
