The High Court has ruled that a decision by the government to close of the Dadaab Refugee camp was unconstitutional.
The orders to close the camp were issued by Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery last year, saying that it was breeding ground for terrorists.
While issuing the judgment on Thursday, Justice John Mativo said it was wrong to punish all refugees.
Dadaab is world’s largest refugee camp, hosting about 340,000 refugees.
