US President, Donald Trump’s decision to cut funding to pro-abortion NGOs has affected over 120,000 women in Kenya.
Marie Stopes Kenya was the biggest casualty of the order that saw the organisation lose grants worth KES 300 million.
The organisation which has been offering family planning services to women in various parts of the country is therefore unable to continue with its operations, putting the lives of its beneficiaries at risk.
Daily Nation reports that USAid, CDC and PEPFAR have also been affected by the orders.
