EACC detectives recover fake KES 2M from former chief's home


Meru, Kenya – Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission detectives on Friday recovered fake money amounting to KES 2 million from a former chief’s home.
The chief is a very close ally of Tharaka Nithi Deputy Governor, Eliud Mate who hit the news recently after losing KES 3.5 million cash at his home.
The detectives raided his home in an ongoing corruption probe.
