Gambia is experiencing financial distress following the departure of former President, Yahya Jammeh.
Reports indicate that Jammeh emptied the state coffers before going into exile in Equatorial Guinea.
The missing money amounts to over $11 million, which is believed to have been stolen in the last weeks of Jammeh’s rule.
