Google partners with Kenya Scouts Association to offer online safety training

Kenya Scouts Association, with the support of Google, launched the 2019 edition of Web Rangers, a youth programme for online safety at an event to mark Safer Internet Day.

Google is partnering with the Kenya Scouts Association to offer online safety training.

Through the Web Rangers initiative which was launched in 2015, Google plans to distribute online safety guides and manuals to scouts and scout leaders in the country.

The initiative will also require collaboration with CODE-IP Trust and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.
