Governor Isaac Ruto fires his deputy

Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto on Tuesday fired his deputy Stephen Mutai for neglecting work.
Ruto, who is also the Chama Cha Mashinani chairman said that Mutai has not reported to work for two years.
The Bomet Governor named Geoffrey Langat his new deputy, The Star reports.
 
The sacking of Mutai comes just two months before the next general election.
