Nairobi airport car park guide

How much will you pay to drop off or pick someone at the JKIA airport? This article will guide you on the parking fees and how to save time while paying for your parking.

The JKIA garage is the designated airport car park and accommodates 1,300 vehicles.

You can also park at the 3-minute waiting bay when picking up or dropping someone.

The parking is managed by KAPS, which charges a base parking fee of KES 60.

JKIA car park payment options

You can pay at the kiosks at the parking garage, near the waiting bay or at the gate. If you forget to pay for your parking, you can avoid the long queue at the exit by using mobile money.

KAPS has a partnership with Safaricom to enable you to pay for your parking using a USSD code. All you need to do is dial *486# and follow the prompts. A pop-up M-Pesa menu will show, where you can enter your M-Pesa PIN to complete the transaction. You will need your KAPS ticket number to use this service.

According to KAPS, this mobile payment service is available at Galleria, Village Market, The Junction, Sarit Center, and Prestige Plaza.
