Jubilee affiliate parties regret merger

Jubilee members seek refuge in other parties

Members of Jubilee affiliate parties are now haunted by the merger of September 2016.
The merger dissolved 11 smaller parties in a bid to unite Kenya and end tribalism.
However, members are now regretting the merger claiming it was ill-advised.
The party has witnessed mass defections as members decry poor strategy and weak structures within the party.
In January, former TNA Secretary-General Onyango Oloo decamped to ODM saying that Jubilee had neglected him.
Former advisor of President Uhuru Kenyatta Kilemi Mwiria, Senator Lenny Kivuti and nominated Senator Emma Mbura are among those who have defected to Maendeleo Chap Chap.
