Wiper leader and NASA co-Principal, Kalonzo Musyoka has threatened to quit NASA.
Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze has said that Kalonzo cannot be deputy to anyone and that Raila Odinga has to honour the 2013 MoU with Wiper.
“We want ODM to honour the MoU … If it’s not Kalonzo, we’ll go it alone,” Nyenze said on Wednesday.
2013 MoU no longer binding
The MoU gave Raila the leeway to run for Presidency in 2013, after which he would step aside for Kalonzo in 2017.
However, ODM has said that the agreement is no longer valid since the two have signed another agreement with two other opposition leaders.
Kalonzo and Raila are now part of NASA coalition, which brings together about 15 opposition parties together with the aim of ousting Jubilee government.
A team that was chosen to identify a joint candidate for the August presidential election said that they chose Raila Odinga, with ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi being the most likely candidate for the running mate position.
Experts say that NASA will lose if Raila is not on the ballot because his supporters will most likely opt to vote for Jubilee.

Kalonzo paid KES 7 billion to ditch NASA
A popular political blogger has dismissed the Wiper MoU claims, said that Kalonzo has been paid by DP William Ruto to ditch NASA.
“Kalonzo Musyoka was paid Ksh 7 billion through Farah Maalim and Abdikadir. Kalonzo will be given a diplomatic assignment after the elections,” he sensationally claimed through a Facebook post.
