KMPDU ready to call off strike

Doctors strike

Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) have said that they are ready to call of strike.
They however said that the government must be willing to address their grievances.
Appearing before Senate Tuesday, the Union Secretary-General Ouma Oluga reiterated that the government must implement the 2013 CBA.
The doctors have been on strike since December 5 over a variety of issues listed in the CBA.
According to Oluga, doctors are pushing for among other things, better pay, proper working conditions and training.
