KNEC deregisters over 370,000 KCPE, KCSE candidates

KNEC has disqualified over 370,000 students who had registered for the 2019 KCPE and KCSE exams due to registration anomalies.

This has reduced the number of eligible candidates to 746, 755 and 670, 222 candidates for KCPE and KCSE exams respectively.

Some of the anomalies reported included the use of fake birth certificates.
