Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has suspended the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) until further notice.
The federation has also instituted disciplinary action against KPL CEO Jack Oguda, Chairman James Musyoki and vice Chairman Ambrose Rachier after the three failed to include two promoted teams in the top-tier.
KPL had already released this season’s fixtures for 16 teams, without including the two promoted teams.
They also included Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka which had been suspended for failure to meet licensing requirements.
FKF officials are expected to meet the three KPL leaders on Wednesday to resolve the dispute, Daily Nation reports.

Sunday, February 12 at 2.00pm: Mathare United v Thika United at Kasarani.
Sunday, February 12 at 3.00pm: Western Stima v Muhoroni Youth at Moi Stadium.
Sunday, February 12 at 4.15pm: AFC Leopards v Nzoia United at Kasarani.
