MPs will start using tablets for official duties in August, Speaker Justin Muturi has said.
The MPs will be receiving soft copies of order papers, votes and proceedings, committee schedules, the Constitution and statues, Bills, Acts of Parliament, committee reports and other key parliamentary documents on their tablets.
According to Muturi, this will contribute towards the conservation of the environment.
The gadgets will be installed in both the National and Senate assemblies by August 16.
