Four dead in Mwingi bandit attacks

Four people have been confirmed dead in Mwingi bandit attacks since Monday.
On Monday, Somali herders attacked Ngooni village near the Tana River County and beheaded two elderly men.
They also burnt down several houses before escaping to nearby bushes.
On Tuesday, they attacked again and shot dead two more people.
Area Chief, Benjamin Mui said five others were injured in the Tuesday attack.
The Standard reports that the two communities are fighting over pastures.
Daily Nation adds that six schools have so far been closed down due to rising insecurity in the area.
