Opposition unites at Bomas of Kenya

Members of the opposition are meeting at the Bomas of Kenya to chart the way forward in the formation of NASA.
About 15,000 delegates have attended the convention that according to the opposition, will change the political landscape of Kenya.
Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper, Moses Wetang’ula’s Ford-Kenya, Raila Odinga’s ODM, Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC are among those who have agreed to hold hands and support one Presidential candidate in a bid to oust Jubilee.
Kalonzo Musyoka says the opposition leaders are uniting “against corruption, corruptors and the corrupted.”
Top in agenda at the Bomas convention is the selection of the NASA leadership. The joint presidential candidate will be named next month.
Though KANU is not part of the opposition NASA super alliance, they have the support of the KANU chair Gideon Moi and Secretary General Nick Salat who have been the greatest critics of the Jubilee administration.
Kenyans have supported the coming together of opposition, saying the proposed NASA alliance will end corruption that has escalated in the last five years.
