Police graft will soon be a thing of the past with the adoption of a new code of ethics for police officers.
According to the newly gazetted Leadership and Integrity Code for state officers in the National Police Service Commission, officers joining or leaving the service will have to declare their wealth.
The information, which will include the officers’ sources of income, will be accessible to any interested person including members of the general public.
