President Kenyatta cuts fuel levy to 8 percent

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday rejected the Finance Bill 2018.
The Bill sought to push the implementation of the 16 percent VAT on petroleum products by two years.
However, speaking during his address of the nation, the President proposed a 50 percent cut from 16 % to 8%.
