Pressure mounts on Arsene Wenger to resign
Arsenal records first loss at Palace since 1979
Pressure is mounting on Arsene Wenger to resign as Arsenal’s manager following their 3-0 defeat on Monday.
This was Arsenal’s fourth successive away league loss under Wenger, quashing their chances of finishing in the premier league’s top four.
This is Arsenal’s first loss at Palace since 1979, BBC reports.
Wenger, who has led the club for the last 21 years has been offered a two-year contract extension at the end of the season, amid rumours that the 67-year-old Frenchman could be headed for PSG.
