Nairobi Senator and gubernatorial aspirant, Mike Sonko has trashed reports that he will be stepping down for Peter Kenneth.
There were reports that Sonko had agreed to be PK’s running mate, which Sonko has dismissed as the “joke of the year.”
Sonko wants his Jubilee competitors to go to the ballot
Sonko, who is eyeing the Jubilee Party ticket in the upcoming general election, has challenged his fellow Jubilee competitors to go to the ballot and let the most popular candidate fly the Party flag.
“I will never ever step down for anyone. I am not for sale and neither are my people. Let us meet at the ballot wananchi waamue,” he said.
Sonko is among five Jubilee candidates for the Nairobi governorship.
