Striking lecturers have refused an offer of KES 10 billion pay rise from the government.
Speaking on Thursday, Uasu secretary general Constantine Wasonga said they are not interested in lump sums without knowing how much each lecturer will receive.
Wesonga ridiculed the offer saying it was a joke for 15,000 lecturers to receive KES 10 billion.
He also urged the government to implement the 2013-2017 CBA before asking them to return to work.
Documents indicate that the lecturers are negotiating for KES 999,030 minimum basic pay for a Professor, KES 740,020 for an associate professor and KES 548,163 for a senior lecturer.
