Three prominent Coastal politicians decamp to Jubilee


Three prominent Coastal politicians have ditched opposition for Jubilee during the President’s four-day tour of the region.
Tana River Governor Hussein Dado, woman representative Joyce Lay and Taita Taveta Senator Dan Mwazo have joined the President’s party.
The Star reports that three out of six Coastal governors have already joined Jubilee ahead of the August general election.
The President received the defectors on Sunday at Tononoka.
Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, who was among the defectors who joined the President at Tononola, said he joined Jubilee because it is keen on improving the welfare of wananchi.
