School Principal says Joho was their bell ringer

Tom Mboya Primary School has confirmed that Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was their student until 1988 when he sat his KCPE exams.
This was in response to EACC’s letter requesting for more information on Joho in an ongoing probe on the Governor’s education background.
In a letter dated March 28, the anti-graft agency had demanded to know the enrollment particulars of Joho, whether he sat KCPE in the school and the grades obtained, as well as his school completion certificate.
On Wednesday, Tom Mboya headmaster Baba Suleiman furnished the agency with the requested documents and even praised Joho’s punctuality, which saw him serve as the school bell ringer.
