University issues stern warning to striking doctors

The University of Nairobi has issued a warning to tutors and medical students who are participating in the ongoing doctors’ strike.
The doctors, who were working at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), are said to have left work last month, paralysing operations.
While issuing the warning Tuesday, College of health sciences dean Prof Fred Were said clinical duties were part of their academic work and threatened to take disciplinary action against those involved.
