University of Nairobi students on Tuesday took to the streets to express solidarity with their striking lecturers.
The students, who gave the government 12 hours to resolve the stalemate, said they wanted to resume classes as soon as possible.
One student was spotted carrying placards that read: “Uhuru pay our lecturers. We are tired of intercourse.”
On Thursday, Laikipia university was closed down and students sent home due to the ongoing strike.
