President issues strong warning to drug barons
President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned drug barons in Mombasa that their days are over.
Speaking during a visit on Tuesday, the President said that his government will no longer tolerate drug dealers.
“We will deal with the drug barons decisively,” he was quoted as saying.
He further lamented that Mombasa had become a narcotics hub.
His comments came hot on the heels of the extradition of the Akasha sons to the US to face charges of drug trafficking.
