Nairobi gubernatorial race: Why Jubilee will lose
Kidero likely to retain seat
Chances are high that Dr Evans Kidero will beat Jubilee in the Nairobi gubernatorial race.
This is because many factors are working in the incumbent’s favour.
According to a recent poll by Infotrak, Kidero is still the most popular candidate followed by Sonko and then Peter Kenneth.
In the survey, 35.3 percent of the respondents said they would vote for Kidero in the Nairobi gubernatorial race.
It is predicted that Jubilee will lose the County top seat if Sonko and Kenneth go to the polls individually.
The two aspirants have refused to agree despite calls by the party heads to support one candidate.
They have both submitted their nomination papers to the Jubilee headquarters as Sonko maintained that he will never step down for anyone.
