Sonko sends a firing shot to Kidero

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has asked Nairobi residents to vote out Governor Evans Kidero in the coming polls.
Sonko who has expressed interest in vying for Nairobi gubernatorial post has consistently accused Kidero of running cartels that have taken over the management of Nairobi County government.
“Nairobians wamechoka na Cartels huyu jamaa tumpeleke home asubuhi na mapema,” Sonko said on Friday. (Nairobians are tired with cartels let us send this guy home very early in the morning.)
On the other hand, Miguna Miguna who is also eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat has consistently leveled cartels accusations against Kidero, calling on Nairobians to vote for a visionary leader.
“Nairobi is too vital a city to leave for ethnic chauvinists and jingoistic cartels. Elect a visionary leader with integrity. It doesn’t matter who the JP and Cord cartels enlist for Nairobi gubernatorial seat. Let’s defeat all their thieves. Viva!
“To the cartels, their surrogates and those thriving on corruption, poverty, exploitation, homelessness and human indignity: YOUR TIME IS UP!” Miguna said.
